Express Entry Draw
Amidst the election craziness the past few days, Canada had a large Express Entry draw today with over 4500 invitations to apply for permanent residence issued. The threshold Comprehensive Ranking System score increased to 478, but this was expected for a draw delayed by one week.
The trend of issuing 4500 invitations is a positive sign for many who have been patiently waiting in the pool of applicants.
Immediately prior to the draw (on Nov 4, 2020), there were a total of 148,470 individuals in the express entry pool. With 27,323 in the pool between 451-500, there are 6948 with 471 or above.
